Associate Strategy Director, Culture: Global Brand and Design Consultancy

Our client is brand consultancy, based in London, New York City and San Francisco. The company’s purpose is to create transformative brands that push what’s possible for people, businesses and the world, exploring new ways of doing things and using creativity to make a difference.

They currently seek an Associate Strategy Director, Culture to support and work with the VP of Culture to help define, stand up and lead the company’s new brand-driven Culture offering as well as bring Branding and Experience skill sets to the position supporting both existing and new client growth for the agency. The ideal candidate will have agency/consulting experience related to building organizational cultures within world-class companies and has built a similar offering/practice area elsewhere.

Responsibilities:
- Support and champion the company’s unique point of view on its Culture offering and finding intersection points with the brand and experience offerings of the company, building tools, frameworks and methodologies for organizational design and change management services to clients

- Build out the employee experience, employee value proposition and program strategies for engagement and social learning

- Define client’s talent brands, narratives and messages

- Execute diagnostic, insights and measurement around cultural and employee experience branding strategies 

- Train select Wolff Olins strategists, engagement leads and designers as well as the broader company on cultural branding initiatives and offerings to clients

- Work with other departments to seamlessly integrate cultural branding thinking into ways of working

- Supporting the sale and delivery of work to existing and new clients

- Executing the sales/targeting/proactive strategy to drive Culture revenue delivering work to existing and new clients

- Willing to play an active and visible role in marketing initiatives and represent the company reputation solidifying Culture offering and building the company brand and relationships

- Possess organizational impact, having a presence that attracts, inspires and encourages learning and mentorship

Requirements:

- A seasoned agency leader with at least 6-8 years of experience including experience in strategic branding

- Experience supporting, executing and selling a similar Culture offering/practice area 

- A creative thinker and an innovator with new strong points of view, confident in challenging convention with conviction, persuasive in all situations, able to help clients take risks

- Determined to change the role of business in society with a commitment to delivery

- Assertive and ambitious, hungry for impact

- Willing to take ownership and responsibility for company needs and execution

- Inspiring and nurturing to the team alongside both clients and colleagues

- Able to work independently, aware of when to bring the right people in and when to collaborate

- Rigorous with a keen eye for quality and finessing the work, comfortable with ambiguity and able to improvise

- Eager and able to offer an interesting perspective to the media or at conferences
