Senior Engagement Manager: Global Brand and Design Consultancy

Our client is brand consultancy, based in London, New York City and San Francisco. The company’s purpose is to create transformative brands that push what’s possible for people, businesses and the world, exploring new ways of doing things and using creativity to make a difference.

They currently seek a Senior Engagement Manager to join their team and help clients navigate their points of inflection and turn ideas into reality. The Senior Engagement Manager will work across two-to-three projects at a time and drive its programs providing planning and direction. The Senior Engagement Manager will solve complex problems, demonstrate proactivity, accountability and responsiveness, take responsibility for the details, embrace feedback and adapt quickly to changes in any situation.

Responsibilities:

-Act as the main point of contact coordinating and managing multiple projects and programs from briefing to delivery among small-to-midsize clients

-Work with multiple key stakeholders and engagement groups

-Communicate frequently with clients on timelines, meeting agendas for working sessions and meeting notes

-Track resourcing needs against projects and programs

-Manage feedback and changes to programs persuasively, positively and reassuringly among clients and team

-Demonstrate leadership and ownership for the quality of work developed against the program

-Build deep relationships with clients

-Demonstrate financial administrative excellence on projects including reviewing team timesheets, expenses, managing POs, billing schedules, checking invoices, following up on payment, financial tracking and profitability and revenue recognition

-Support Senior Engagement Director on larger pillar projects

-Identify and present new business opportunities among current and prospective clients

-Present in new pitches to small-to-midsize prospective clients

-Play an active role in culture building and community initiatives

Requirements:

-5-7 years of experience, ideally in an advertising or branding agency

-Highly organized in approach to multiple tasks, prioritizing delivery against multiple programs

-Enjoy working at a fast pace

-Expert at building, networking and managing long-lasting relationships

-Skilled in understanding both the client’s high-level brand and position in the industry against granular program needs

-Comfortable with presenting directly to clients in person and online

-Have a flexible work style tailoring approach to different client/team needs and presenting optimism in the face of new challenges

-Willing to be inquisitive, confident, persuasive and articulate

-A common sense approach identifying, improving systems and processes, coping well with feedback, uncertainty and setbacks

-A leader with integrity and strong ethical compass
