Commercial Real Estate Agents: Rapidly Growing Boutique Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Advisory Firm

Our client is a renowned boutique commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm that is entering a recent phase of growth. For over 30 years, the firm has assisted clients with acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial leasing and service that can only be found in a boutique firm, earning the confidence and loyalty of its clients. With locations in Newton, MA and Providence, RI the firm services all of Southern New England. Its corporate culture is team oriented, supportive, collaborative, and driven to provide honest and thoughtful real estate expertise.

The firm seeks Commercial Real Estate Agents to join its expanding team of talented investment sales and leasing advisors within both their Providence, RI and Newton, MA offices. Experienced agents are the glue that holds the firm’s teams together. They are involved in every stage of a transaction, including negotiating the sales and leasing of properties as well as working with the marketing department to prepare marketing materials. While candidates will have the ability to service existing relationships, the ideal candidate should have multiple existing relationships and be comfortable establishing new relationships in order to continue to help the firm grow.

Responsibilities:

- Secure new and expand current client relationships

- Gather and coordinate materials necessary for transactions such as listing agreements, commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements

- Prepare offers, term sheets, and lease amendments

- Compile property data for clients, such as tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, status updates, and presentations for listing or tenant representative assignments

- Prepare Request for Proposals (RFP) and review RFP responses

- Analyze data and prepare real estate reports on average asking rents, tenants in the market, historical data, and market comparisons

- Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, property values, and legislation that may affect the real estate industry

- Provide tenants and landlords with pertinent information on leasing availability, current market conditions, and property values

Requirements:

- Valid real estate license in MA and/or RI

- 3+ years of commercial real estate experience

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Self-motivated and goal-oriented

- Local market knowledge

- Bachelor's degree preferred

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

- Sales experience in other industries with a track record of success a plus
