Strategist / Senior Strategist: Iconic Design and Branding Agency
Location: New York, NY, Hybrid
Our client is an iconic and ever-evolving design and branding agency who provides award-winning brand positioning and product portfolio architecture, identity design and corporate branding, package and private label design, and retail activation services to some of the most beloved brands in the world. They work with well-known and startup consumer brands and beyond, building strategic and visual identities that compel and that last.
Reporting into the Director of Strategy, the agency seeks a stellar Strategist or Senior Strategist at the NY office with a diverse background who can contribute both in skillset but also culturally with the agency. Spearheading strategy projects for the agency alongside the strategy team, the Strategist or Senior Strategist collaborates directly on interesting and innovative clients across the agency’s portfolio. The ideal candidate has some experience in strategy and research within an agency and preferably among brands in the CPG space.
Responsibilities:
- Strong foundational experience in strategy and strategic planning
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research
- Adept at developing brand strategies and brand positioning
- Engineering campaigns, communications and light campaign messaging
- Working understanding of design and design systems and visual identity
- Ability to balance longer-term, large-scale initiatives adapting across project sizes, timelines including quick-turn projects
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience
- Agency experience with some experience in the CPG space
- Background in a creative or creative strategy discipline (i.e. design, copywriting, or personal creative practice)
- Interested in or experienced with startup / high-growth environments
- Motivated to be challenged and expand an already strong strategic skillset
- Flexible and adaptable mindset
- Independent thinker and creative problem solver
