Fully Remote US Director of Agency Operations: Full-Service Creative, Global Agency
Location: Fully Remote
Our client provides a multitude of services from graphic design (based upon a speed and efficiency model), to strategy/planning and most recently digital (with the acquisition of a digital agency). They work as a global network, providing these services to Fortune 500 clients across categories.
They are at critical point in their agency journey, seeking a dynamic, sharp and driven US Director of Agency Operations to promote and lead growth in the US. This is a fully remote role and the first of its kind in the US. They seek someone who can help organize and grow the US client services team. In addition, they seek someone to own and manage their digital offering in the US, expanding to existing and new clientele, while continuing to promote and grow their historical branding + design service offerings.
This candidate should be well versed and experienced in digital marketing, possess strong leadership skills and a hunger to grow an office, and be incredibly collaborative as there will be a there is also a need to work with clientele, orchestrate global offices and teams alongside the agency's owner and global leadership and determine the best internal talent for particular clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage agency operations in the US
- Proven ability to grow agency groups and functional business areas
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the US and across global offices
- Maintain current client relationships while seizing and growing new digital opportunities among current clients in alignment with overall company goals and objectives
- Assess current staff and provide operational strategic recommendations for team growth
- Deep knowledge with the latest advances in digital marketing, branding and advertising, performance marketing, web development and tools and technical platforms and be able to lead high-level strategic recommendations among company leadership and executional teams
- Comfortable with leading key high-level client relationships and maintaining satisfaction
- Extensive experience with making proven digital strategy recommendations
Requirements:
- 12-15+ years of experience leading cross-functional digital agency teams, including marketing, creative, development, and account management.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Deep experience in leading digital a must
- Success with leading teams in a fully-remote business model
- Experience in hiring, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve high performance
- Entrepreneurial approach to growth, collaboration and problem solving
- Experience working with Fortune 500 or 1000 clients a plus
- Spanish language proficiency a plus, but not a must
